Wonderful bronze 17,3" Life Size African head of an IFE Queen. The Queen has very distinctive vertical lines in the face and a crown on the head. The IFE region was formerly the religious and royal center of the YORUBA people.

Beautifully made, with plenty of details, It has a beautiful grey, green patina.

This statue is of high quality and was made with the “cire perdue technique”, and is therefore unique in its kind. Beautifully finished off in detail, it has a wonderful crown on the head.

Good condition, but with signs of use and normal holes of cast glitches. Please study the photos well.
